"Wordpress"
Today I spent a lot more time working on the site with Wordpress. I changed some themes, shopped some plugins, messed with the widgets, so on and so forth. There are still quite a few features and details I don't quite get. For instance what if I want to make multiple entries to a page other than the main page? Isn't there some way or doing that? Or do I have to just keep modifying the same page over and over?
Of course, while I was doing all this with the web site for the HTA site I hadn't made a whole lot of progress on the actual HTA so I did actually work on that for a bit today. I managed to make make check boxes show up dynamically in the dynamically generated table rows. Which as it turns isn't actually that hard since it took me maybe a half hour to get that little part right.
The only thing I haven't figured out is if it's possible to crawl...or whatever...the virtual DOM-created rows adjusting as necessary specific rows. No idea how to do that. I'm pretty sure it's possible, just don't know how to do it. Of course I should actually be writing such updates and information on the web site for the actual piece of software.
Last night I did watch another episode of Star Trek. This one was titled Space Seed. Wasn't sure what to expect from the title and it was actually before the last episode I watched so I was going to skip it. But I watched it any way and now I am glad I did: it's the episode that inspired Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan. Namely Khan was found on some ship apparently from the 1990s in some kind of suspended animation and he manages to charm the pants off a crew member and take over the Enterprise. But instead of punishing him Kirk leaves him on some planet. And we all know how that turned out via the movie. I was actually surprised it was the same actor in the episode as it was in movie playing that character.
