"Perot"
Today I got the new wheels put on to my car. I also paid them to re-align my wheels as needed which ended up costing me another $60US. On top of the $770 I already paid. Talk about insult to injury. At least my wheels and tires better damn well be fantastic for whatever remainder of life the car has in it! Which I imagine isn't a whole lot.
I also got not one but two calls for two more recruiters. Actually one was the same of the previous job, the on I interviewed for and didn't get, ya her. She called me about a completely different job/position at the same place. Not sure I want it that bad but I said I was interested anyway. Not a lot to lose in that regard I think.
The other call was from a company I was kind of sub-contracted to at my last job, Perot systems. Although they were purchased by Dell recently so I guess it's "Dell/Perot systems" now. Anyway I'm quite excited about that. I mean it's hard to really get my hopes up at this point considering the number of disappointments I keep having so this is about as excited as I get these days.
I passed the little pre-screening thing the recruiter put me through and I have already got an email saying I will have a "technical phone interview" tomorrow/Tuesday. She made it sound like the interview process is moving through quite quickly so I'll know relatively soon what may or may not happen with this sudden turn of events.
Other than the calls and getting new wheels for exorbitant prices I sat down and really played into the DOM. I learned that although JavaScript syntax may indicate a (" ") is requried apparently VBScript isn't always going to agree. With the appendChild method for instance. In VBScript there's no (" "). Learned that the hard way, eventually.
